Leveraging single-use technologies for ADC manufacturing

Single-use technologies have been extensively used in the production of therapeutic drugs, particularly biologics, for decades, with their adoption continuing to expand. However, challenges related to plastic components have historically limited their application in antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) manufacturing. Recent advancements in these technologies now enable greater flexibility and transformation in ADC production.

This presentation will explore the potential of single-use technologies in ADC manufacturing, highlighting critical factors such as material selection, operating modes, and compliance with ADC-specific safety and quality criteria. Key data, design considerations, operational advantages, and practical applications of single-use in ADC production will also be discussed.
