Per Stobbe is the visionary inventor and product initiator with +30 year experience within porous materials, fluid mechanics, separation system, and since 2010 advanced up-stream process equipment for the biopharmaceutical industry. I have created 75 patents and applications, several companies, 500 jobs and improved the life for millions of people. For my work I among others received my share of the prestigious Descartes Prize 2006 for outstanding research.

The industry is facing the well-known problem of cleaning and keep the Hollow-Fiber-Filter clean in perfusion processes. Let’s face it - none of the existing technologies gave any of us viable solutions. A better technology and reliable platform are required. The latest invention - P-SUBmerged - features LASER guided diaphragm Single-Use-Pumps named Thalia. Specifically designed to alter accurately broth velocities between many gentle harvest cycles to a few fast cleaning cycles flushing out HFF fouling.
