Christoph Gmeiner completed the master’s degree in “Biotechnology & Bioanalytics” at the Technical University of Vienna (Austria) in 2014, followed by his PhD in Chemistry at ETH Zurich which he completed in autumn 2018. Additional education in project management and the PMI certification led him towards the pharmaceutical industry.

From 2019-2024, Christoph Gmeiner has led many large CAPEX Upstream projects in the pharmaceutical industry all over the world, such as Korea, China, USA and Europe. In this role, he gained a lot of experience in the effective project execution in this industry and all challenges in projects with different stakeholders.

After 5 years of project management, Christoph moved on into a commercial role to bring the project execution knowledge and experience towards the acquisition period, where he gained significant experience in concept creation, business development, detailed calculation, negotiation, tendering, and planning projects in the pharmaceutical industry.

Since June 2025, he started at ZETA as the Head of Sales for Switzerland, dedicated to further increase the brand awareness and boost the market growth of ZETA in Switzerland.
